Conquest Electrical System

The Conquest utilises 2 engine driven starter-generators for the primary source of electrical power with battery or external power being available as secondary sources.

Direct Current is directed throughout the aircraft via a left and right hand electrical bus that is tied together by a third cross-tie bus.

This left/right/cross-tie bus arrangement allows either generator to provide power for the entire system or, working in parallel, share the system load.

A battery bus is also utilised and may be isolated to just battery power, and, while the aircraft is on the ground, an APU may be utilised to supply electrical power to the buses via the crosstie bus.
