Interior lighting is further divided into cockpit lighting and cabin lighting.

Cockpit lighting consists of instrument panel lighting, floodlights and map lights.

Cabin lighting consists of indirect flourescent lights, passenger reading lights, an aft compartment light and lit signs.

Exterior lights consist of wingtip Navigation/strobe lights, landing lights (some models use retractable lights), nose gear taxi light, surface deice lights, optional rotating beacon and leading edge recognition lights.
